‘A Photograph Dies’ is a documentary film about Jean-Paul Bourdier, a french photographer and Professor of Photography and Visual Studies at the University of California. His photography often focuses on body art and the intersections of natural environments and human bodies.
The documentary takes place in the deserts of The United States. By using an artistic approach to Bourdier’s art, the film tries to develop the difficulties of creating his art in the ‘white canvas’ of the desert.
The documentary’s premiere took place in California, United States in 2017.
